The garment shop was created on the territory of the hospital in December, 1998. At first only four people worked in the studio; today thirty-two sisters labor there. The assortment of garment products is very wide: vestments of Greek and Russian style for clergymen, monastic vestments, items for beautifying the church. New technologies of garment making are developed on the basis of the appropriate Church canon. The possibility exists for individual work to order. The sisters of studio make items of high quality, bearing in mind that “all the best for God”.

Embroidery workshop

There is no place where beautiful embroidery is not appreciated. Gracious embroidery motifs, delicate color-combinations beautify cuffs and the edges of vestments, baptismal garments for babies, wedding sets, napkins, scarves and other items. Sisters sew using machines and software. Sketches and models for embroidery are developed by the sisters themselves. Thin white linen is used for embroidery in natural threads as well as woven linen for special wedding towels.

Gold embroidery workshop

Unique items for use in the divine services are created in this studio. Masters of embroidery study prototypes of Ancient Russian, Greek and Serbian sewing. Iconographers collaborate in order to create an artistic image. Works are made using semi-precious stones and pearls. Gold, silver, brass strings and natural silk are used. Products of great beauty and magnificence are created including: church vestments, liturgical complete sets, shrouds, banners, covers and bookmarks for the Gospel.

Icon setting workshop

This workshop continues on of the most ancient traditions of Russia. It was considered an honor for parishioners if the church received a gift from them – a beautiful, precious framework or an ornamental covering for beautifying an icon. This type of craft is very unique. Materials used for setting an icon are brocade, stones, beads, foil. Sketches of ornaments and patters are drawn by an artist. The workshop prepares frameworks and covers for printed and hand-written icons, embroidery of shrouds, banners, restoration of old items.
